Cold heading and bolt making processes require oil based lubricants and friction to form fasteners and specialized fittings. The process creates heavy oil smoke and mist emissions approaching and often exceeding 80 mg/m3 of sub-micron emissions.
The Solution
The Absolent A-Smoke is ideal for handling these emissions with large coalescing fiber bed filters designed for heavy emissions; These collectors operate for a minimum of two-years without filter changes or maintenance. Oil reclaim is typically accomplished with an automatic pump-back system with float/level controls and a head-pressure of 27’ which allows the oil to be re-used directly in the process machine.
